3. Craniosacral Therapy

Kathy Milliken, M.A.

CST is a hands-on healing technique involving the subtle manipulation of the spinal and cranial bones. This movement optimizes the central nervous system as well as the ebb and flow of the sacral fluid through the spine.

I have successfully treated clients with mental stress, neck & back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome, fibromyalgia and intercranial hypertension.

It is important to note that CST is not an ‘instant fix’. Soft tissue and bones, misaligned due to physical or emotional trauma, everyday stress or congenital malformation, can often be restored to their proper positions – but this does not occur overnight. Muscles, tendons and ligaments that have been ‘trained’ to hold a bone in a detrimental way, will require time to be ‘re-trained’.

I┬ásuggest clients come for craniosacral therapy once a week for four weeks and then ‘let things settle’. As always, the client’s body will determine frequency and duration of treatment.

60 minute sessions.
